Green tea and caffeine
Stallion Power Caffeine and Green Tea Extract: 5 mg, the Liver Caution and Sleep
Stallion Power has two stimulant-related lines in its blend: green tea extract in place 4 and caffeine in place 5. Caffeine is the only amount printed, 5 mg per gummy, against FDA's 400 mg a day for most healthy adults. Green tea extract is unlisted, at about 19 mg or less by our arithmetic, and carries a rare liver caution.

Two lines01
How much caffeine is in a Stallion Power gummy?
One Stallion Power gummy lists 5 mg of caffeine. It is the only active amount the label prints, and it sits in fifth place in the 82 mg blend.
For scale, FDA cites 400 mg a day for most healthy adults (FDA, How much caffeine is too much?). Five mg is about one eightieth of that.
There is a second source. Green tea extract, in fourth place, carries caffeine too, and the label does not say how much (NCCIH, Green Tea). The true total is a little over 5 mg.

| Name on the label | Green Tea Extract |
|---|---|
| What it is | Camellia sinensis leaf extract |
| Where it appears | Place 4 of 9 in the 82 mg proprietary blend |
| Amount per gummy | Not listed; place 4 of 9, at most about 19 mg |
| Amount used in research | Liver cases at 140-1,000 mg EGCG a day |
| Strength of evidence | Weak for weight and none found for erections |
| Marketed or traditional use | Leaf extract sold for energy. It carries caffeine and rare liver injury reports. |
| Main caution | Rare liver injury with extract pills; may lower blood levels of the beta-blocker nadolol. |
| Name on the label | Caffeine (5mg) |
|---|---|
| What it is | A natural stimulant found in tea, coffee and guarana |
| Where it appears | Place 5 of 9 in the 82 mg proprietary blend |
| Amount per gummy | 5 mg, printed on the label |
| Amount used in research | FDA: 400 mg a day for most adults |
| Strength of evidence | Well established as a stimulant; not an ED treatment |
| Marketed or traditional use | Stimulant for alertness. This gummy prints 5 mg, about a twentieth of a small coffee. |
| Main caution | Can cause jitters, fast heartbeat and poor sleep in sensitive people; ask a clinician if pregnant or on medicines. |
Blend math02
Why does the 5 mg of caffeine matter for the whole blend?
Because caffeine is printed, it acts as a measuring stick for the rest. Every line listed after it weighs 5 mg or less.
A blend must list its parts from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). Ashwagandha, L-arginine, tribulus and horny goat weed all come after caffeine. Each can weigh 5 mg at most, about 20 mg together.
That leaves at least 57 mg for the first four lines. By our arithmetic, green tea extract in fourth place is about 19 mg at most. These are ceilings from the label order, not a lab test.
Liver03
Can green tea extract harm the liver?
Rarely, yes. NCCIH reports liver injury with green tea extract pills, and a review for USP links the extract to liver injury and advises taking it with food (NCCIH, Green Tea) (USP 2020, green tea extract liver review).
Reported liver cases came at 140 to 1,000 mg a day of the tea compound EGCG. One gummy holds about 19 mg of the whole extract at most, by our arithmetic, which is well below that range.
Low is not zero for everyone. Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or pain in the upper right belly are reasons to stop and call a doctor, as the label says for any reaction (FDA, How to Report a Problem with Dietary Supplements).
With liver disease, or with other products linked to liver injury such as ashwagandha, ask your doctor first.
Medicine04
Does green tea extract interact with medicines such as nadolol?
Yes, one known case is nadolol. NCCIH says green tea may lower blood levels of this beta-blocker, which is prescribed for blood pressure and heart rhythm (NCCIH, Green Tea).
Do not stop or change a heart or blood-pressure medicine because of this note. Ask your pharmacist whether Stallion Power fits with your list (FDA, Mixing medications and supplements).
Caffeine can also raise heart rate in sensitive people. On a heart medicine or a nitrate, ask before adding any "male enhancement" product.
Sleep05
Will the caffeine in Stallion Power keep you awake?
At 5 mg, probably not for most adults, but sensitive people can notice even small amounts. The label gives no time of day for the gummy.
Count the gummy as one more small caffeine item beside coffee, tea or soda. Take it earlier rather than late, and see how you sleep.
- One gummy, same time daily
The label says once daily and gives no time of day, so pick a time you will keep. Prescribed medicine stays on its own schedule.
- Activity most days
Adults are advised to get at least 150 minutes of moderate activity a week; regular activity is linked to better sexual function.
- Alcohol, tobacco and weight
Heavy drinking and smoking are linked to erection problems; steadier habits help more than any gummy.
- Night, 7 to 9 hours
Poor sleep and stress are common, fixable contributors to low desire and low energy.
Lifestyle guidance (NIDDK, ED treatment). The times on the dial are examples; the label sets none.

How do the two lines compare?
Caffeine has a printed amount and a firm record as a stimulant. Green tea extract has neither a printed amount nor evidence for erections.
| Question | Caffeine | Green tea extract |

Our view07
Are the green tea and caffeine in Stallion Power a problem?
For most healthy adults, the amounts are small. The sensible step is to know the cautions, not to ignore the lines.
The sales page says the product is "specifically formulated to avoid dependency". The page cites no study for it (Stallion Power sales page).
Ask a doctor first with liver disease, a heart condition, anxiety, poor sleep, pregnancy or nursing. The label asks the same.
FAQ09
Caffeine and green tea questions
How much caffeine does Stallion Power have?
Each gummy prints 5 mg of caffeine. Green tea extract in the blend may add a little more, but the label does not say how much. FDA cites 400 mg a day for most healthy adults (FDA, How much caffeine is too much?).
Can green tea extract cause liver problems?
Rarely. NCCIH reports liver injury with green tea extract pills (NCCIH, Green Tea). One gummy holds about 19 mg of the extract at most, by our arithmetic. Stop and call a doctor if you notice yellow skin or dark urine.
Does green tea extract interact with nadolol?
Yes, it may lower blood levels of nadolol, a beta-blocker (NCCIH, Green Tea). If you take it, ask your doctor or pharmacist before using Stallion Power, and keep taking your prescribed dose.
Can Stallion Power affect my sleep?
It can, mainly in people sensitive to caffeine. Five mg is small, but green tea extract adds more. The label gives no time of day, so many people choose the morning or early afternoon.
Is there a safe amount of caffeine on top of the gummy?
For most healthy adults FDA cites up to 400 mg a day (FDA, How much caffeine is too much?). Count coffee, tea, soda and energy drinks. If you are pregnant, nursing or have heart problems, ask your doctor for your own limit.
How much green tea extract is in one gummy?
The label does not print it. By our arithmetic from the label order, green tea extract is at most about 19 mg of the 82 mg blend (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). It is a ceiling, not a measured amount.
